Weisses Brauhaus is a beer house in Munich operated by the Schneider und Sohn brewery.
- 20061017 - Was here for lunch, since dinner the previous night was too crowded. Had three small beers, the Weisse from the cask, the Aventinus, and the Weisse Weizenhell. Ate the bierbratl, which according to my notes is breast of pork (?) roasted in beer gravy, sauerkraut, and potato pancakes. 20.70 Euros.
This place seems a little more authentic, due to its old school decor and lack of English on the menu or from the servers. They also have a fascinating selection of strange meets that only Bavarians would eat.
My notes are contradicted by my receipt, so it is a bit uncertain what I was actually drinking here:
*{beer} Schneider-Weisse Aventinus Weizenbock cask conditioned - insanely mellow, slight alcohol bite, malty and delicious
*{beer} Schneider-Weisse Weizenhell - moderately tasty. Coming off the Aventinus was a bit of a let down
